Principal: Vikki Perry

Vikki is originally from Swansea where she started performing at a young age and began her professional acting career at the age of 15, touring the UK with a repertory theatre company.

At 18 Vikki started her three-year training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), graduating in 2003.

After working professionally for several years in London, she went on to train in Paris at the world renowned physical theatre school L’Ecole Internationale de Theatre de Jacques Lecoq.

In Paris she developed a strong passion for creative theatre, which calls on all aspects of the creative process to fabricate and produce powerful theatre. It was during her training here that Vikki realised there was a far better and more organic approach to theatre than of merely doing as you’re told; how through the construction of the imaginative thought process, we can build a journey where there are no boundaries. It is from here that much of Vikki’s pedagogy comes.

After returning from Paris, Vikki has worked here in Wales as a physical theatre teacher for Coleg Sir Gar and The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Now, as the mother of two small children, Vikki has come to recognize the need for, and the importance of The Arts to our future generation. She has created “Bookworm Theatre Group” as a way of providing that need. It is an introduction to The Arts, a development process for the mind, and a rewarding technique to improve life skills, whilst also incorporating another paramount aspect, not to be lost to this future generation – Books!
